CABOT, Ark. -- Crews doing bridge approach repairs will require a lane closure next week on Highway 67 at the Lonoke/White County line, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The lane closure will be located at Cypress Bayou and will require the southbound, inside lane to be closed on Monday, April 18. The closure will be in effect between 9am - 3 pm, weather permitting.

In Pulaski County, crews doing resurfacing and installing barrier walls on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock will require lane closures between Levy and Springhill Drive. The eastbound and westbound lanes will close Monday, April 18 through Wednesday, April 20.  At least one lane will remain open to traffic in each direction during the construction work.

Also lanes of Interstate 430, both north and south will shut down Tuesday and Wednesday for a bridge inspection, while guardrail repairs will be made on Highway 67 near Jacksonville Monday and Tuesday.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
