Improvements to Interstate 630 will require overnight lane closures

LITTLE ROCK (AHTD) – Improvements to Interstate 630 will require overnight lane closures in Little Rock, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

Crews will remove wood platforms beneath the I-630 west to I-430 south bridge. The work will require closing the I-630 eastbound outside lane between Hermitage Road and the Baptist Hospital off-ramp.

The lane closures will be Monday night, August 18th through Friday morning, August 22nd, between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com. You can also follow us on Twitter @AHTD.
