Arkansas designer makes a big statement in the Big Apple

Arkansas fashion designer, Rulli Torres, recently made a big statement during New York City Fashion Week by showcasing his designs and donating time for a special event called PLITZS NYC Fashion Show and Charity Fundraising Gala.  Funds were raised for YES!, a non-profit organization that was created to provide information, resources, and support for anyone that is affected by cancers of the liver.

Torres says of his participation,"I had a really close cousin and favorite uncle pass away from cancer in the last few years and I've always been interested in contributing to various causes.  I'm very honored to have been asked to participate in this event.  If in some small way it helps one cancer survivor feel beautiful then I'll be very happy."
