Local Artists Fill Holiday Art Market at Starving Artist Cafe

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Annual Starving Artist Cafe Holiday Market continues this Saturday,  December 15 and again December 22.

Artists will be set up inside the restaurant to sell their original artwork (paintings, jewelry, crafts, photography, pottery, etc.) for our customers to shop as they enjoy a fantastic lunch. No fee, no commission, and the artist will get lunch on us. Market hours are Noon-2pm. Limited to six artists a day. You can do one day, several days, or all. West Little Rock, Ar. - Don't miss this years Holiday Tour of Homes. This event will kick off on December 7th and 8th. Friday the 7th there will be a Private Preview Party (7:00 - 9:00) filled with cocktails and entertainment at Hargis Home at Valley Club Circle. Then join in for Holiday breakfast at Wildwood on Saturday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Following breakfast the Holiday Tour begins! Starting at 10:00 a.m. is when the first tour will leave to take a trip to see Little Rock's finest homes.

Tax Delinquent Land Sale Scheduled for Pulaski County

LITTLE ROCK, Ark – A public auction for the sale of tax delinquent land in Pulaski County will be held at Verizon Arena in North Little Rock on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at 9:00 a.m., according to John Thurston, Arkansas Commissioner of State Lands.  Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The Commissioner of State Lands Office provides a Catalog of Tax Delinquent Lands, which contains the rules and regulations governing the sales.  The catalog also includes dates, times, location, and pertinent information regarding the parcels being offered.  It is available by calling 501-324-9422 or may be viewed on the Commissioner’s web site at www.cosl.org.
