Lance Turner with Arkansas Business joins us now for a look at what to expect. We also have comments from fellow lawmakers and partners.

From Darr's own party Republican State Rep. David Meeks tweeted this:
"Thank you Lt Gov @markdarr for your service to the State of Arkansas. Praying for you and your family."

Republican House Speaker Davy Carter told our partners at Arkansas Business this:
"Everyone recognized (impeachment) would be a difficult thing to do and embarrassing for the state. Nobody wanted to do that, but I think people were prepared to do that. To that end, I think this is the best ending that was possible in this circumstance."

"I think it's really a good thing that he went ahead and resigned and saved the people of Arkansas and the legislature having to go through the impeachment process."

-Vincent Insalaco, the chair of the Democratic party of Arkansas
