LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – A juvenile suspect has been charged as an adult in the case of an officer-involved shooting at a Red Lobster earlier this month.

The shooting took place on Saturday, Jan. 9 at the Red Lobster on Markham Street in Little Rock.

According to police reports, three suspects, 20-year-old Troy Williams, Jr., 25-year-old Kenneth Nelson, and 17-year-old Joshua Williams exchanged gunfire with an officer while attempting to rob the restaurant.

One of the suspects fired several rounds at an officer, hitting him once in the left shoulder. The officer fired back at the group, hitting the teen in the back side.

Shortly after the shooting, communications received a 911 call from an individual requesting medical assistance for a gunshot wound at the 300 block of Cherokee Circle nearby. When officers responded, they discovered that the wounded person was the 17-year-old suspect. He was transported to Baptist Health for medical attention.

A second suspect, 20-year-old Troy Williams, Jr., was arrested on Sunday, Jan 10 after he was found hiding in a shed. He is facing charges of aggravated robbery, criminal attempt to commit capital murder, battery and six counts of aggravated assault. 

Kenneth Nelson was arrested on the evening of Sunday, Jan. 10 after being found by officers barricaded in his girlfriend’s home. He was charged with aggravated robbery, criminal attempt to commit murder, first-degree battery, aggravated assault, and other Pulaski County warrants. 

Joshua Williams was discharged from the hospital on Monday, Jan. 18 and transported to the 12th Street Station were the warrants were served. Williams was charged with aggravated robbery, criminal attempt to commit capital murder, first degree battery, and six counts of aggravated assault. He was transported to the Pulaski County Regional Jail.
