LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A woman accused of stabbing a Little Rock man to death on Sunday has been taken into custody.

28-year-old Paradise Williams faces first degree murder charges.

Police say she's a known prostitute in the area around Wright Avenue, Battery, and Wolfe Streets in Little Rock.

Police reports state that officers found 33-year-old Jerry Moore Jr. stabbed to death at his home on South Battery on Sunday.

Williams appeared in Little Rock District Court on Monday morning where her bond was set at $1 million. The Associated Press reports that she pleaded not guilty. Her next court date is set for January 29, 2016.
