Man convicted in teen's death in court Monday
News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- A Little Rock man convicted of killing a teenage girl during a prank is expected to be in court on Monday morning.

Willie Noble is currently serving a 30-year sentence in the shooting death of 15-year-old Adrian Broadway.

According to Noble's attorney, they are asking the court to declare Noble "indigent" because he cannot afford the cost of the appeal.

If the judge agrees, the state will help pay for fees associated with the appeal process, including the costs of records and attorney fees.

Broadway died when Noble shot at a group of teens who he says were vandalizing his son's car last February.

The hearing begins at 9 a.m. in Pulaski County Circuit Court.
