Police looking for help in two NLR homicides | News
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- North Little Rock Police and community members are pleading for the public's help in finding the people behind several recent crimes.
After two North Little Rock homicides in just three days, authorities are teaming up with the Stop the Violence movement to find the people behind what they are calling heinous crimes.
A 15-year old found shot to death last Friday, and a second man was found shot to death inside a home on Turner Street, early Sunday morning.
Wednesday afternoon, members of Stop the Violence as well as the police chief and officers of the North Little Rock Police Department shared their concerns and encouraged the public to come forth if they know anything that might lead to an arrest.
"You know anytime we have a homicide it's always bad, but with people going out and killing little babies, it's really ridiculous," exclaimed Reverend Benny Johnson. "So, we're asking for the community's help."
At this point, police have no leads on who may be behind the crimes in either case, but they think someone might have seen something and said any little bit of information could help.
If you do know anything you are asked to North Little Rock detectives at (501) 680-8439.
