Arkansas Blue Cross hosting "Boo with Blue" at Museum of Discovery

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (October 1, 2014) — Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is hosting a free "Boo with Blue" Halloween party from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, October 10. Participants are encouraged to come in a costume, ready to dance! "Boo with Blue" will feature a costume competition with prizes for the best costumes, trick-or-treating and a "Move More" dance party.

All Arkansas Blue Cross members will receive free admission to this kid-friendly party. If you don't carry Arkansas Blue Cross insurance, you can stop by ArkansasBlue, located in Little Rock, Pine Bluff or Hot Springs, to pick up free tickets while supplies last.

"Boo with Blue" also will provide free giveaways, like glow-in-the-dark bracelets, and much more. Participants will get the opportunity to explore the Museum of Discovery and watch a movie in the theater. BlueAnn Ewe, the Arkansas Blue Cross health ambassador, will be on hand to take pictures with kids and hand out treats.

"Arkansas Blue Cross wants to encourage Arkansas families to move more, and have fun doing it," said Karen Raley, vice president of Corporate Marketing. "'Boo with Blue' is a chance for Arkansas families who carry the Cross and Shield in their wallet to enjoy an activity-filled evening at the Museum of Discovery. 'Boo with Blue' is another way we're trying to engage our members in a fun, healthy lifestyle."

Arkansas Blue Cross members simply show their ID card (Arkansas Blue Cross, Health Advantage or BlueAdvantage Administrators of Arkansas) at the door of the Museum of Discovery, sign in and enjoy free admission to the party on October 10. Each person in attendance needs an ID card with the Cross and Shield (or the names of each person should be listed on the ID card). People who aren't members can still attend with a free event ticket.
