Reynolds to speak at Baptist Health 'Bolo Bash' | Events
For more than six decades, Reynolds has danced, acted, and sung her way into our hearts through movies like Singin’ in the Rain, funny and endearing TV roles like Grace Adler’s mom on Will & Grace, and with chart-topping songs like “Tammy.” The Vegas headliner and Academy-Award nominee has received Lifetime Achievement Awards in Comedy, an honorary degree from the University of Nevada where she contributed to the film-studies program, as well as her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The event will begin with a silent auction at 11 a.m., then lunch and guest speaker at noon in the J.A. Gilbreath Conference Center at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock.
Proceeds will benefit Baptist Health MedFlight, the healthcare system’s lifesaving emergency air ambulance transport service. For more than 28 years, MedFlight has provided the highest quality care to the critically ill and injured by responding to the scene of accidents and making hospital transports, safely and quickly delivering more than 16,500 patients to their destination when every second counts. The emergency transport crew consists of flight nurses, flight paramedics, board-certified emergency physicians, flight coordinators, pilots and mechanics. Neonatal and high-risk labor and delivery specialty teams also use MedFlight as an extended service of Baptist Health.
The Bolo Bash is Baptist Health’s largest fundraising event and has raised more than $9.5 million to improve and enhance the care of Arkansans since its kickoff in 1989.
Tickets for the Bolo Bash luncheon are now available and can be purchased in advance by contacting Jamie Deason, Baptist Health Foundation special events coordinator, at 202-1827, or email her at Jamie.Deason@baptist-health.org.
