Final fugitive in Arkansas drug bust arrested


LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – The last remaining defendant in the Arkansas drug bust has turned himself in.

According to Cherith Beck, the PIO for the Eastern District of Arkansas, Michael Dawkins, 27, turned himself in to the FBI in Little Rock on Thursday morning.

All except Rachel Lewis, Christian White, Thomas Caffrey and Tommie Ice made first appearances before United States Magistrate Judge Joe J. Volpe on Thursday. All pled not guilty and received a trial date of October 20 in front of United States District Judge J. Leon Holmes. Some detention hearings are set for Monday.

Rachel Lewis is being transported back to Arkansas from Atlanta. Christian White is being seen by the Northern D. of Texas. Caffrey and Ice are both in state custody and are being seen on September 25.
