In advance of the March 3 race, Little Rock Parks & Recreation’s Therapeutic Recreation Division has been training more than 60 special needs students for the Little Rockers Kids Marathon.  Since September, these students have been building up (an average of 4 miles a week) and will complete their final mile on the McClellan High School Track.  These students in the Community Based Instruction (CBI) program at these schools learn a wide range of living skills to help them reach independence within the community as an adult.
