“We have the largest Halloween event in the state, possibly in the region and want our visitors to enjoy every bit of it,” said General Manager Steve Honeycutt.

According to Honeycutt, Magic Screams will feature a trick or treat area, a wonderland-themed haunted house for smaller children and the kids’ rides will be in operation.

Magic Screams will also feature Howl at the Moon, a haunted illusion with new scare zones and roaming characters. There will be contests for the whole family, including ‘King and Queen of Screams’ the first Saturday.

“We’ll have contests for the whole family," said Honeycutt “We’ll also have ‘The Great Mummy Wrap’ where up to four team members wrap one of the members as a mummy."

Winners of competitions will receive a 2016 Season Pass/ Children and adults are welcome to join in the fun and dress in costume, but only children 12 and younger may wear masks. For an additional fee, face painting and pumpkin painting will be optional.
