LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Several staff members of Taziki's Mediterranean Café at their locations throughout Arkansas in North Little Rock, Bentonville, Fayetteville, Conway and Little Rock have decided to participate in ‘No-Shave November,’ a month-long journey during which participants forgo shaving in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness.

The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing hair, which many cancer patients lose. Participants are encouraged to donate the money they would typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives and aid those fighting the battle.

Taziki’s has its own ‘team’ page on No-Shave November’s website, where donations can be made to support these efforts.

“We look forward to putting down our razor for 30 days and donating our monthly hair-maintenance expenses to the cause,” said Tommy Keet, President of JTJ Restaurants, LLC. “Taziki’s is passionate about donating to charity causes, and we believe ‘No-Shave November’ is a fun way for our employees to support a cause and join the fight against cancer.”

No-Shave November works with several organizations to achieve its mission, with proceeds from the donations going to American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Fight Colorectal Cancer, and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
